About Us

Training of Running staff and Maintenance staff started on 07.01.1987. 

Present building was inaugurated on 12.06.1994. 

ETTC/DDU has been included in the list of “Other Training Centers” vide Director (MPP)/Rly. Bd’s L/no.- E(MPP)/2001/3/9  vol-III dt.- 25.01.2005. 

New hostel building was inaugurated in July 2007.  

Our target is to deliver best quality training to maximum number of trainees in healthy atmosphere. 

Our motto is to develop knowledge, discipline, efficiency and skills in our trainees to give railways a secured, reliable, punctual and safe service.

Model Room Conventional Loco – Provided with equipment and circuit diagrams of conventional type loco refurbished last year. We can easily demonstrate conventional loco circuits using this model room. ❖ Model Room 3-ph Loco- A cab model of 3-ph loco is available with various equipment and circuit diagrams. 

Computer Lab- Equipped with 05 desktop PCs loaded with softwares like, Self learning and animated circuits and various video clips. 

Library – Equipped with manuals, ACTM, TSDs, CKT diagrams, GR-SR books & other Technical books in Hindi & English. “Haribansh Rai Bacchan Hindi Pustakalay” have more than 2000 Hindi literary books. Many books of Electrical Engineering are also purchased and kept for trainees in this library. 

Pantograph – AM-12 pantograph is installed inside institute building to ease in demonstration to trainees. 

Coupling – E & H type CBC models are available at ETTC.
